Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Consultant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Support Consultant to join a fast-paced ERP support environment.
In this role, you will provide 1st and 2nd line functional support across Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (Supply Chain Management) or Business Central environments, ensuring smooth business operations across procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics processes.
You will act as a key link between business users, functional consultants, and technical teams-resolving issues, improving processes, and supporting continuous system optimisation.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
🛠 Functional Support & Issue Resolution
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support for Dynamics 365 SCM modules:
- Procurement & sourcing
- Inventory management
- Warehouse management (WMS)
- Sales order processing
- Logistics & transportation
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional system issues and user queries
- Log, track, and manage incidents using ITSM tools (ServiceNow / Jira / Zendesk)
- Perform root cause analysis and escalate complex issues where required
👥 User Support & Training
- Support end users with system processes and best practices
- Assist with onboarding and training on SCM-related processes
- Create and maintain SOPs, user guides, and knowledge base articles
⚙ System Maintenance & Process Improvement
- Assist with system updates, enhancements, and configuration testing
- Participate in UAT and release validation cycles
- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain system efficiency and accuracy
📊 Data & Reporting Support
- Support data validation, cleansing, and integrity across SCM modules
- Assist with reporting using tools such as Power BI, SSRS, or Excel
- Ensure accuracy of procurement, inventory, and vendor data
🤝 Collaboration & Project Support
- Work closely with Finance, Operations, and IT teams
- Support ERP rollout, enhancement, and upgrade initiatives
- Collaborate with developers and functional consultants on escalations
🎯 Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or Business Central
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
- Exposure to SCM modules (procurement, inventory, warehouse, sales orders)
- Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, or similar)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
⭐ Nice to Have
- Experience with Power BI, SSRS, or advanced Excel reporting
- Exposure to WMS, TMS, or vendor management systems
- Basic understanding of integrations or ERP data flows
- Experience in UAT or ERP implementation projects
- Microsoft certifications (Dynamics, Power Platform, Azure)
