Are you passionate about designing modern data platforms and building scalable data solutions in the cloud? We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a dynamic Data & Analytics team delivering enterprise-grade data solutions across a variety of industries.

3+ years of Data Engineering experience.Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.Experience designing and building Databricks ingestion and transformation pipelines.Experience implementing Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers within a Medallion Architecture.Strong ETL/ELT development experience.Experience with Azure Data Factory and/or Azure data services.Experience with Data Warehousing and Lakehouse architectures.Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and data flow artefacts.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

What You'll Be Doing

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions.Build and optimize data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.Design and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers) to support analytics and reporting requirements.Develop robust ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and deliver data from multiple source systems.Work with structured and unstructured data from enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.Support the construction and maintenance of data flow maps, technical documentation, and solution artefacts.Build and maintain data warehouses, lakehouses, and modern analytics platforms.Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and developers to deliver data-driven solutions.Ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization across the data platform.Contribute to solution design, architecture discussions, and best-practice implementation.

Responsibilities

As the DevOps Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

Infrastructure Management: Oversee the deployment of new infrastructure aligned with overall IT strategy and integration requirements.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, develop, and maintain IaC solutions for efficient cloud infrastructure delivery.
Collaboration: Partner with development and operations teams to understand infrastructure requirements and ensure solutions meet their needs.
Monitoring and Alerting: Develop and maintain systems to monitor infrastructure performance, security, and reliability.
Audits and Optimization: Conduct regular audits to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure architecture, design, and implementation.
Industry Awareness: Stay updated on best practices and emerging technologies in cloud computing.
Technical Support: Provide guidance and technical support to team members on infrastructure-related issues.
Vendor Engagement: Collaborate closely to ensure optimal service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

Extensive hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure, specifically in Azure for both IaaS and PaaS services, including backups and disaster recovery.
Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) within an enterprise environment and experience with CI/CD tooling in a GitOps model.
Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and experience interacting with REST APIs.
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with technical stakeholders effectively.
A self-starting mindset with a capacity for independent work.
Experience with the M365 suite of services, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Intune, and SharePoint Online.
