Role: Senior Salesforce Architect - NPC Duration: 9 months (October 1st - June / 1,440 total hours at 32 hours/week) Rate: $100 / hourScope: Full cradle-to-grave implementation (Discovery, Advisory, Design, Build) Core Objective: Migrating a Not-For-Profit / SME off legacy research and fundraising tools (Raiser's Edge and Blackbaud) onto Salesforce NPC. Key Functional Focus: Tech Stack Assessment & Integration Advisory: Evaluating whether legacy tools like Raiser's Edge and Blackbaud can/should be replaced, or if they need to stay and integrate into a hybrid architecture. Advising on complementary tools that fit the stack. Process & Architecture Strategy: Leading discovery, design, and build phases for fundraising, donation acceptance, and grant request tracking within Salesforce. Marketing & Communications: Advising on and configuring Marketing Cloud email communication workflows. Change Management & Collaboration: Working closely with internal Data Administrators to define data governance, streamline operations, and guide the team on "how to get stuff done" within their broader technology ecosystem.N.B. Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a senior Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud Architect with proven experience leading end-to-end NPC transformations from strategy and discovery through architecture, implementation, data migration, and stakeholder adoption. They will possess deep expertise in fundraising, donor management, gift processing, grants management, and non-profit operating models, coupled with a strong understanding of legacy fundraising ecosystems such as Raiser's Edge and Blackbaud. From a technical perspective, they should be capable of designing scalable NPC solutions, conducting technology-stack assessments, defining integration strategies, advising on data governance frameworks, and architecting future-state processes across fundraising and donor engagement functions. Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is highly desirable, particularly around donor communications, campaign journeys, and engagement workflows. The role sits between architecture, cloud engineering, networking, security, and automation, supporting public sector and enterprise clients adopting GCP.
